This video was commissioned by BANES Council to find out from young people what they felt their needs were.
We’re in it for the journey with young people
LUX Youth Project has been working with young people in Bath since the 1970s. We believe in young people and their ability to improve their lives, making positive choices that will see them transition successfully into adulthood.
We work in Southdown and Larkhall in Bath, Peasedown-St-John, and Timsbury. In 2024/25 we delivered 815 hours of youth work. We run after-school drop-ins to provide safe spaces for young people to meet with friends, run by trained staff who will provide support and a listening ear when needed. We also run Motus Dance Academy – affordable street dance & hip hop lessons for 11-18 year olds. Find out more about our projects by clicking on the link below.
