Youth Worker, – Larkhall, Bath
6 hours per week | Salary £27,434-£29,606 pro-rata (pending cost of living increase) | 7% pension
We are looking to appoint a part-time Youth Worker to deliver 2 afterschool drop in sessions in Larkhall to support young people living in the East part of Bath. This exciting role is in partnership with the United Reformed Church. The post holder will be responsible for developing existing connections with the community and developing new relationships.
The successful candidate will be a Christian with a passion for working with young people in the community from a range of backgrounds.
The ability to work both as part of a team and on your own is essential. You will also have the responsibility of recruiting and managing volunteers.
You will have excellent relational, interpersonal and communication skills, whether working with young people, church leaders or senior management. You will have a relevant qualification and experience in working with young people. The post holder will be part of a creative and supportive team which believes that a difference can be made in the lives of young people in the local area.
